You guessed it right for the past year since 5G started rolling out, the company on Tuesday announced the new line of iPhone 12 which will be running the ultra-fast 5G technology among other new features.

As the rumours suggested, the new iPhone 12 line up features an aluminium build and a body redesign which hasn’t happened in 3 years but its an existing design we already know—– Remember iPhone 4 from so many years ago? The flat design resembles the recently announced iPad Air and iPad Pro as well as the iPhone 4.

Starting at $799, the new devices come in 5 different colours which are black, white, blue, red, and green while still resembling the iPhone 11 with its top nudge that houses Apple’s face ID hardware with bezels around the screen having been reduced —-that comes with the replacement of LCD with OLED screen.

Oh yeah, that’s another cool change. The OLED screen introduced on iPhone 11 comes with a few perks on its own featuring brightness of 1200 nits while also supporting Dolby Vision, HDR 10, and HLG. That’s not all — The glass is coated with a Guerilla glass that went to a private school which Apple calls, “ceramic shield”.

Do you still think that’s just it? No. Apple’s new iPhone is powered by the new A14 Bionic chip which the California based company said is 50% fast than the fastest chip in any leading Android phone while running an updated GPU faster than any latest phone in the market currently.

You would still expect battery life to be a lot shorter than before because of 5G but Apple said that the new devices were designed with speed and power efficiency in mind.

Apple says it has tested the new iPhone 5G with 100 different networks in 30 coungtries around the world.

In most cases, if not all, Artificial Intelligence systems learn through training so that they remember their core functions when used in the real world. In the case of facial recognition technology, an algorithm trained with, let us say 10,000 random faces of one color results in bias. I recently came across a tweet that […]
