The first quarter Q1 Mobile Operator Report by MyBoradband has been released which showed that MTN still reigns supreme as the best mobile operator in South Africa.
MyBroadband is South South Africa’s largest tech website that compiles these quarterly results from internet speed tests run through their Speedtest app across different networks by different users in South Africa. This report is based on 7,608 mobile data users across South Africa.
MyBroadband says that as much as matrics are expected to be based on pricing, these metrics show that users are more leaned towards network quality which is the reason why MTN and Vodacom still occupy the top spot despite their fairly expensive data prices compared to their competitors such as Rain, Telkom and Cell C.
These matrics provide a clear picture of the mobile operator that has the happiest customers while also providing an overview of any improvements that needs to be done especially for those with lower ratings.
